Woodcraft, Inc. insures that the product produced are of acceptable quality. If any product is defective due to poor craftsmanship, the company will replace the defective item. Woodcraft, Inc. must be contacted within 72 hours.
Wood is a moisture sensitive material and must be kept in a stable environment to prevent shrinkage, splitting or warping. A relative humidity of 40-45% is recommended. The customer is responsible for the care of the wood products upon reception.
Special Instructions Pertaining to Interior Doors
A. Check doors upon delivery and prior to handling
- If a defect is obtained at the time of delivery, the customer must contact Woodcraft, Inc.
- Check all doors for warping, cracking, cracked moulding, and stiles and rails that may be defective or freight damaged.
B. What Are Defects on an Interior Door
- Chips on any part of the door exceeding 3/16" in diameter.
- Any joined parts that exceed 3/16" gap.
- Any portion of the door that is warped over 1/4" for 6' 8" door.
C. Conditions of Warranty
- Customers must contact Woodcraft, Inc. within 72 hours in the case that the door is damaged in transit.
- Woodcraft, Inc. will first, repair the door, second, replace the door, and third replace the funds.
- Claims will not include any costs for installing doors, taking down defective doors, finishing or hanging of new or temporary door.
D. Conditions Not Under Warranty
- Doors used for exterior application.
- Doors installed in direct sunlight.
- Doors that are cut or machined.
